Sixth Form Achieves Unprecedented ALPS1 Rating for 2024 A-Level Results

We are delighted to announce that our Sixth Form has achieved an ALPS1 rating for the 2024 A-Level results, marking an unprecedented milestone for our school and the entire local area.

What is ALPS1? ALPS (A Level Performance System) is a nationally recognised measure that evaluates the progress and performance of students from their GCSEs to their A-Levels. An ALPS1 rating is the highest possible, placing our school in the top 1% of schools nationwide. This rating signifies that our students have made exceptional progress and performed outstandingly in their A-Level exams.

Why is this Achievement Important? Achieving an ALPS1 rating is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and resilience of our students and staff. It reflects the high standards of teaching and learning in our sixth form and highlights the exceptional academic progress our students have made. This accomplishment not only sets a new benchmark for excellence at the Emmbrook Sixth but also massively boosts our students' life chances by opening doors to top universities and competitive career opportunities.

Celebrating Our Success We are incredibly proud of our students for their remarkable achievements. Their commitment to their studies and their determination to succeed have paid off, and they have set a new standard of excellence for our school and the local community.

Looking Ahead This ALPS1 rating is not just a reflection of past achievements but also a motivation for future success. We are committed to continuing our journey of ambition and providing our students with the best possible education and opportunities to achieve their full potential.

These sessions will last for approximately 60-75 minutes and will include a tour of the Sixth Form, visits to some lessons, and a chance to speak with the Sixth Form leadership staff and leadership students.

If you would like to reserve a spot at one of these coffee mornings, please contact our Sixth Form admin team via email at JRimmer@emmbrook.wokingham.sch.uk.
