During the Spring Term of Year 9, our students choose their options subjects for the courses that they will study in Years 10-11. These qualifications will enable them to progress on to further study within our Sixth Form or at college. We will be supporting your child to make well-informed choices and appreciate your support with this vital process.

Core Subjects	Options Subjects
All students will complete the following GCSEs: English Language English Literature Maths Combined Science (worth two GCSEs) or Triple Science which includes Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Alongside these, all students will continue to study Physical Education and Personalised Studies.	Students will choose four subjects from a wide range of GCSE and vocational courses. GCSE: Fine Art Business Classical Civilisation (after school only) Computer Science Design & Technology, 3D Design Drama Media Studies, Geography History Music Physical Education Religious Studies  Spanish Vocational: Creative Media Production Hospitality & Catering, Marketing & Enterprise  Health and Social Care

At the bottom of this page, there is also a leaflet explaining the benefits of the EBACC. Furthermore, we look forward to seeing you all at the Online Options Event on Thursday 16^th January 2025. The event will start with a presentation at 7 pm, which will explain the options process in full. This will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions. Applications will open shortly.
